Who am I?

Hello there. I'm Mark W. Schumann, an I.T. consultant from Cleveland, Ohio USA--right across the lake from Canada. I have two bothersome cats and cook outstanding homemade Indian food, although these facts are not connected.

What can I do?

I've been hacking with Perl since the 3.x days. I've adminned my own little TWiki site for years, and used it to support (among other things) a hypertext collaboration site for community college writing students.

Why do I want to do it?

I've been looking for a free-and-open-source project to contribute to, in the sense of giving to the community and also in the portfolio-building sense. I loved TWiki back in the day but it wasn't easy to get involved with development. Foswiki is a nice opportunity!
