Foswiki Background

• 2005 - Installed TWiki for use as a wiki in DNA research.
• 2006 - Liked working with TWiki so much that I started using it to host a couple of our lab websites.
• 2007 - Began using TWiki to integrate all of the informatics projects at our lab.
• 2008 - Dismayed, and a little alarmed, to hear about the strife occurring in TWiki's management. Decided it was a good time to begin trying to make a contribution, so joined the documentation team.

General Background

I'm a bioinformatician. Have programmed in Perl for 8 years and do a bit of SQL, javascript, OpenOffice BASIC, and webdesign (some java, C, and pgsql too when necessary).
