WebChanges topic

Hi,

Recently, when I click on the Changes link, the WebChanges topic doesn't load anymore, it just keeps showing Loading...

I have this on all webs, also the default ones (Main, Sandbox, System), which I didn't touch...

How can I check what's wrong or how can I solve this?

The page tries to use SolrPlugin, however this is not installed. See the configuration of {Plugins}{AutoTemplatePlugin}{ViewTemplateRules} and disable all rules. Further note that you only need either AutoTemplatePlugin or AutoViewTemplatePlugin ... but not both.

I've disabled all ViewTemplateRules and uninstalled the Solr plugin (it was installed, but not enabled).

Now, the WebChanges appear again.

Concerning the AutoTemplatePlugin & the AutoViewTemplatePlugin, which is preferable? I have another foswiki installation,which contains the AutoViewTemplatePlugin, however, I notice that the AutoTemplatePlugin is more recent - is it also better?

Imho, AutoTemplatePlugin is better: it superseeds all features of AutoViewTemplatePlugin but comes with more. It will be mandatory for any extension based on the WikiWorkbenchContrib anyway (such as ClassificationPlugin or BlogPlugin).
