Adding Captions in PrettyPhoto

I'm positive this is going to be a dead easy solve, but my search skills seem to have failed me, as the only solutions to this are all HTML based, and involve altering the extension, which I don't have access to.

I just want to display captions under images in the PrettyPhoto gallery display. I've tried adding captions to each image, but they only display under the thumbnails if I also add a frame, and never on the pop-up gallery where I want them. Any hints where I'm going wrong?

JQPrettyPhotoContrib works best when used together with ImageGalleryPlugin. There is a titles parameter to activate captions.

Thank you very much for this answer. It looks like ImageGalleryPlugin has been disabled by my admins, so I'll have to look for another solution to this issue. Thanks for your time!
