MathModePlugin not processing latex section

Hi,

I've installed this extension and enabled it at the extensions configuration panel, but I dont know why, the examples http://foswiki.org/Extensions/MathModePlugin doesnt work for me

<latex>
  \sum_{i_1, i_2, \ldots, i_n} \pi * i + \sigma
</latex>

It shows the text just in plain text. What I'm missing?

First, check InstalledPlugins whether MathModePlugin is actually enabled. Then go to the topic containing the latex section and add ?raw=all to the url to get to see the real source code of your topic. Make sured that the latex section is actually in there, i.e. not using <latex> ... This might have happened while copy-pasting examples or when using the wysiwyg editor.
