This question about Developing extensions (plugins skins etc.): Answered

Can I edit a table that is created from a search function

Hi

I would like to be able to have a headline like this

Document name
Link to document

Then I have a search function looking for all documents needed and get something like this

Document name
Link to document
Design document .....

Requirement document

Test document

The user should now be able to edit the result and submit links into the table. The page should not be updated automatically later and therefore be static......

Is this possible at all?

There is no existing functionality that supports this. However with javascript it would be possible to edit table cell values and to grab the resulting table html and save it to another topic.

Thanks for your feedback, I'm not an Java expert so have no idea what to look for. Do you have an idea where and what I should look for to solve the issue?

If I remember correct, this used to work on old trademark wiki using EDITTABLE immediately above the SEARCH. But I'm not sure if that was a bug in disguise of a feature.

I have tried to have the %SEARCH {" .......

But this didnt work so I properly need more to get it to work....

Is it possible somehow to copy /paste "values" only (like it is possible in excell) from a outcome of a search function to a table?? -- PeterSvendsen - 08 Mar 2012
