Change the default WebSearch search type

When I use the WebSearch Topic to search something, the "word" search is used. Is it possible to change the search type to "keyword"?

When I change the SEARCHVARDEFAULTTTYPE value, only the Advanced Search is set to this search type. But the standard search is still using the "word" search. How do I change this to "keyword"?

The variable should be %SEARCHDEFAULTTTYPE% (note the 3 T's AULTTTYPE) That variable is used on the WebSearch and WebSearchAdvanced pages. %SEARCHVARDEFAULTTYPE% (note only 2 T's) is used for %SEARCH macros elswhere.

The System.WebSearch and WebSearchAdvanced pages were updated by fixes in Foswiki in 2011. If you upgraded to 1.1.5 from older releases, make sure that your upgrade procedure picked up the new versions of System.WebSearch and System.WebSearchAdvanced.

The WebSearch and WebSearchAdvanced pages were broken in older version of Foswiki.

Oh, sorry, I wrote %SEARCHDEFAULTTTYPE% in this Question only with two T's (now corrected), but in my Site Preferences i wrote the macro the right way with three T's.

Today i upgraded Foswiki from 1.1.5 to 1.1.6, but the problem still exists. Foswiki 1.1.5 was my first Foswiki release.

%SEARCHDEFAULTTTYPE% does affect the WebSearchAdvanced, but not the normal WebSearch

I defined it this way (without the "#") in the SitePreferences:

   * #Set SEARCHDEFAULTTTYPE = keyword

Is this right?

I think you've found a bug. The parameter is not being picked up in the WebSearch page. This needs a bug filed. It's broken in 1.1.6 as well.
