How can I change the date format in configure to 31 10 2013 ?

I want to change the date format in configure that it shows

16 07 2013 instead of 16 Jul 2013

Using either $mon or $month in format $Foswiki::cfg{DefaultDateFormat} = '$day $month $year'; it always shows 16 Jul 2013

How can I change that?

found it fnally out myself:

you use $day $mo $year
