Revision number not expanded from WORKFLOWLASTVERSION_APPROVED

I have upgraded a twiki to foswiki 1.0.4.

One of the webs has a collection of topics under workflow revision control. When viewed in the new foswiki, all seems to be well. However when the topic is revised, sent for approval and approved, the WORKFLOWLASTVERSION_APPROVED macro doesn't give a revision number!

Prior to upgrade (and prior to going through a cycle once in foswiki) it would expand to revision 4

After going through a revision cycle, it expands to revision

Workflow declares version (21 Nov 2008, $Rev: 3392 (2009-04-09) from the system web, and has been installed using the debian apt repository.

Thanks for any pointers...!

Take a look at the raw text of the topic. Is it correct in the history?

Looking at a topic that hasn't been through a cycle on foswiki, the metadata (from the text file on the server) has various LASTVERSION_state messages with numbers. A topic that has been through a cycle on foswiki has the metadata tags, but the number is missing, ie LASTVERSION_APPROVED=""

Sorry to do this to you, but try again with the latest version of the plugin. It has changed quite a lot since Nov 2008. If it still doesn't update state changes correctly, then raise a task attaching an example that's detailed enough reproduce the problem.

I have updated the plugin, and the situation remains. I have created a task (Item8147) which hopefully has enough detail. Please say if I need more. I have added your name to the waiting for field - should I have done?
