Can't get to 'save of extension settings'

After upgrading Extensions, bin/configure says I need to "import extension settings". After clicking on that, the Validation window pops up listing the Config.spec for extensions that are more recent that the latest configuration...

Then it just hangs. How do I save the configuration?

How did you upgrade your extensions. If you used the Web configure interface, this should have been handled automatically.

If an extension is updated external to configure, such as by unzipping it, you will get the warning that the Config.spec needs updating.
  • Click the import extension settings button.
  • It will pop up a "working" dialog, and quickly after, the "Validation" window
    • Message saying what plugin was updated.
    • _Note that you may get a visual indication that the dialog is processing, but the close button will still be active. The "spinner" is a UI / CSS error.
  • Click the "Close" button

The button in the upper right corner of the configure panel should change to Save (required)

Click that to save the configuration.

I opened Tasks.Item14536 for the lingering "wait" spinning cursor.

Setting this to answered. Please re-open and update if this doesn't describe what was happening.
