configure email with dockerized foswiki

I'm using the foswiki from timlegge docker at dockerhub.

I'm trying to setup the email. When I enter the docker and test my smtp using sendmail, it works. However when I try autoconfigure in the mail settings in configure, it launches a wizard that seems to get stuck.

Looking at the wizard code I think it expects a full blown sendmail, and not the busybox sendmail that is part of the docker.

Any suggestions what can I do to get email working would be appraciated.

Are you running latest from timlegge/docker-foswiki? There was an update to mage email work a bit ago. I don't think I verified that the auto config works so I will take a look. You should be able to put in the correct settings though ant get it to work on the latest docker image version though
