IE 8 not redirecting to destination

We're on 1.1.2, and installed the latest version of the RedirectPlugin (1.1). We have several pages brought over from a previous version of Foswiki that have redirects in them. These redirects work fine in Chrome and Firefox, but in IE 8, they spin and eventually return a "This page cannot be displayed" error.

I've tried in IE with no addons, and see the same behavior.

I did find that the test page http://foswiki.org/Sandbox/RedirectPluginTest did redirect successfully in IE 8.

Any assistance would be appreciated!
