/full/path/to/foswiki/bin/.htaccess: Option FollowSymLinks not allowed here

Apache is configured with .htaccess files as described in installation guide.

I get a error 500 page in browser and the apache error log "/full/path/to/foswiki/bin/.htaccess: Option FollowSymLinks not allowed here"

My managed server has the option "SymLinksIfOwnerMatch" which I set to enabled.

Can I simply delete the FollowSymLinks option in /bin/.htaccess or is there another workaround for this problem?
