I run a site with >1000 users and after upgrading from 1.0.9 to 1.1.2, getting the page edit form up became very slow. It takes on the order of a full minute.

After discussing this in the #foswiki irc channel, I ran nytprof and posted the result.

After some head scratching, pharvey suggested I restore the commented out line return if $this->{CACHED}; from TopicUserMapping.pm. This indeed fixes the delay.

I run the site on linux, without fcgid or mod_perl.

False alarm. My TopicUserMapping.pm was for some reason not the latest version.
