Item10035: NatSkin not working with TwistyPlugin

I really like Foswiki and NatSkin. But I never get it running just out of the box.

To reproduce:

• Install Foswiki 1.1.2
• Add NatSkin and NatSkinPlugin, these Plugins will be installed as dependencies
  • BreadCrumbsPlugin
  • DBCachePlugin
  • FilterPlugin
  • FlexWebListPlugin
  • IfDefinedPlugin
  • RenderPlugin
  • SetVariablePlugin
  • UploadPlugin
  • ZonePlugin
• Enable all newly installed Plugins
• Enable NatSkin (?skin=nat)

Result:

TwistyPlugin (which is really needed at many places) is broken.

• For example at the Main.WebHome I see raw code at the bottom

• At Main.WebNotify WebNotifyHelp is visible and not twisted.

• No problem with pattern skin. Only NatSkin is affected.

Maybe it's related to Item9836 ?

Actually, the problem is with DBCachePlugin, which no longer implements the ATTACHMENTS macro. Please visit Extensions.DBCachePlugin and downgrade to the previous release. MichaelDaum is working on a new attachments plugin which will implement this functionality separately.

Downgrading DBCachePlugin to 3.50 fixes the first problem at Main.WebHome.

But the main problem still remains. All "twisted" content is just visible as "un-twisted" with NatSkin. I tried to downgrade TwistyPlugin to 1.5.3 with no success.

Any suggestion what I should downgrade (NatSkin or TwistyPlugin? to which version?) in order to make NatSkin again working with TwistyPlugin in 1.1.2?

Urs, sorry, for now you will have to wait until the next NatSkin version will be released.

Michael, thanks for your reply. That's ok for me. My main wiki installations are still on 1.0.9.

Any schedule for next NatSkin version? Or just "released when finished"?

Maybe it is also related to a new issue with PersonalInfoAddon? I am reopening this because even with the proposed solution(downgrading) the Twisty is not working.

1.5 year later I'm still waiting for a working NatSkin Version for foswiki 1.1.x. Any news on that?
