On the login screen (see attached image) and also trunk.foswiki.org (as at 17-01-2010) the textbox field is left-aligned.

I see now. IE7 does a bad job there.

Acutally, there is more at play. The css changes done to foswikiFormSteps are not rendered well in IE7 at all.

-- ArthurClemens - 06 Mar 2011

And these changes break the layout.

I have reverted the css changes, but IE7 still needs to be fixed.

-- ArthurClemens - 07 Mar 2011

Looks fixed though.

Re-Opening

Now the password field is suffering from the same problem

-- PadraigLennon - 13 Jun 2011

Is this IE7 only?

-- KennethLavrsen - 26 Jun 2011

I only have access to IE 8 compatibility mode (which is in effect IE7). Definitely an IE issue only

-- PadraigLennon - 28 Jun 2011

I will be working on this tomorrow evening.

-- ArthurClemens - 29 Jun 2011

I believe this is somehow related to Foswikitask:Item10859, so if Foswikitask:Item10265 gets closed, the Foswikitask:Item10859 will get closed too.

-- FranzJosefGigler - 30 Jun 2011

Fixed the login template.
