Would it be possible to have an option to relocate the close button from the bottom of the image box to the top right. We have observed users that had difficulty navigating away from the image and attempted to use the browser's back button.

Regards

Paul

Hi Paul. Which image gallery do you refer to exactly: the html version or the javascript version? I am afraid I can't do much about the latter as this is using a 3rd party jQuery module called slimbox.

I've got an alternative image gallery frontend prettyphoto. This one has got the big advantage that it resizes the gallery depending on the viewport of the browser window. That way the "close" button is always visible, which might be the reason users don't see it sometimes using the slimbox renderer as it does not respect the viewport. Will package it as JQPrettyPhotoContrib soon and let ImageGalleryPlugin use it in case it is installed as well.

Hi Michael, using the jQuery version. Thank you, I'll look at prettyphoto and JQPrettyPhotoContrib. It could have been the visibility of the close button or possibly its location, but I don't think it is a big issue, considering the initial transition draws the attention away from the browser controls.

No actions required, it seems. Closing.
