I run a Foswiki site where the general rule is - if you are not authenticated you cannot see anything.

Additionally I use a corporate LDAP for authentication. And I have no power over this and it is easier to make a lake on the moon than getting a service account user created.

I had a need for a very controller "back door" to be used as a data base lookup for some test software.

So I created this feature for the ModifyLoginPlugin (that I am the author of already) so that you can define a list of topics (no wildcards for security reasons) and map these to a login that only exists in WikiUsers.

I can lock this special topic so it can only show a very controlled content and prevent this special user or any none admin from editing this topic.

This creates a very well controlled access without creating service accounts that can do too much.

If you already use the ModifyLoginPlugin and you are not interested in this back door simply leave the new setting blank and everything will work as it always did.
