The PrefsCachePlugin is referenced in the configure docs for {Store}{PrefsBackend}, but it has not yet been released.

I guess it should be tested and released from SVN, or removed from the docs.

Crawford, Does this plugin exist, or should the reference be removed from Foswiki.spec?

It exists, but I never released it because I was going to benchmark it first (to support the assertion that it is faster), but never got round to it. I will revisit it.
