Item11036: Paging of SOLR-Search sometimes wrong
Priority: Normal
Current State: Closed

Target Release: n/a
Applies To: Extension
Component: SolrPlugin
Branches:
If we fire a query from within the WIKI with this options:
?sort=score+desc&display=list&rows=20&origtopic=WEB.WebHome&filter=web%3AWebName&search=imagegallery
We get back an empty result-list (correct, because there ARE no results) but the paging says:
Results 1 - 1 of 1
If I fire this query directly (on the solr admin Page) it returns 0... which is correct.

We still have this Issue with the latest SOLR Plugin on 1.1.4
I noticed an other behaviour... sometimes there actually ARE results, (resultspage says: Results 1 - 2 of 2) but there are NO results in the list. Searched directly on Solr, the results are displayed. Searched with both, mine and the Admin-User which sees all webs.

Before displaying a search result, the topic found is checked for existence. Could be that it just dropped out of the index, before solr was updating the index.
Which indexing strategy do you use?

No, the Problem is consistent.
We run a Delta-Index every 5 minutes and a Full-Index every Week.

This search interface has been replaced by an all-ajax one. The new pager should do just fine.
