Item11484 changed the statistics script to require POST instead of GET. The geturl.pl script, while deprecated, might be used to run statistics on sites with limited cron access.

  • Allow geturl.pl to issue POST with form data geturl.pl POST mysite.com/bin/statistics?webs=Sandbox;subwebs=1
  • Provide examples of wget and curl in the statistics documentation to further discourage use of geturl.pl
