Apologies if this is a dupe, but I couldn't find a similar task. Item11041 should cause an error in configure, or at least a warning. If the module BerkeleyDB is missing (or incorrectly checked in this case) after setting MetaCacheManager to BDB, this should flag a error in configure, not require the admin to go back to that option to notice the missing dependency.

Confirmed. The checkers only report the module, and don't detect if it's an error. I have a fix, but unless something else forces a rebuild of RC2, this will wait for 1.1.6.

Marking this fixed for 1.2, New configure will check all extension dependency files, on request, by clicking the "Audit configuration " tab.
