Of the three checkins.

• distro:a2d63b752ad2 is strikeone simplification, and needs review.
• distro:8831692f220d Html5EditContrib:b2b05fc5f4f2 is flagged as experimental. We may want to revert after we branch 1.2.
• SlickSitemapContrib:a8c871b2b687 is a non-core extension.

The core part of Foswiki:15232 needs to be reverted as it implements dependencies on the post response's returned html markup ... i.e. containing a .foswikiMain and a .container-fluid inside. This is code that should best be moved into the rest of the checkin dedicated to the non-released HTML5EditContrib.

I doubt that code added in distro:a2d63b752ad2 is correct. When there are multiple forms on the current page, the code will steal the strikeone validation key of the first form found and reuse it for its own purposes. This will invalidate the form it fetched the validation key from ... which might not be intended in all cases.

Reverging changes to JQueryPlugin. The way strikeone valoidation was addressed is flawed. The errorr handling depending on markup specific to PatternSkin, HTML5EditContrib and/or SlickSitemapContrib.

Does any of this work remain for 1.2? Can it be set to Waiting for Release or closed? (Does any of it need to be documented in the release notes?)

None of the checkins made it into the 1.2 code base. The rest is plugins.
