the current System.NewLdapUserTemplate topic has a META:PREFERENCE that amounts to:

   * Set VIEW_TEMPLATE = (stuff)

This can cause problems since it will affect other topic views by the same user. In my specific case it appears to break making WebSearch use the Solr search view template (using AutoTemplatePlugin).

Suggested fix: change to Local.
