I wrote it assuming that I could have the foswiki server send a logout to the CAS server, because the JASIG CAS server logout does not redirect anywhere, and has no user feedback other than that its logged out.

sadly, that does not work, we have to send the user to a dead end. (at least in the version of the JASIG server I'm working against)
