Weekly repeating events allow for also setting start and/or end dates. For some reason, this feature was not implemented for repeating monthly events. Based on the examples offered for repeating weekly events, one would expect this syntax to work for a repeating monthly event: w DDD dd MMM yyyy - dd MMM yyyy - description. But it doesn't. Events formatted in that way do not show up in the calendar or lists.
