Item12386: NatEdit 7.03 Resizes Edit-Window in Internet Explorer
Priority: Urgent

We noticed a strange behaviour when using
NatEdit 7.03 with Internet-Explorer (tested in 8 and 9).
While you are typing inside the Editor, the Text-Area
shrinks from the right side. It shrinks just until there is no Text-Area visible anymore.
Upper and lower buttons stay where they are, only the Text-Area is affected. Save or Cancel etc. is working normally.
We use the latest jQuery-Plugin with version 1.8.2

Users report that this happens as well on the Mac with Safari.

Which setup shows the error? Are you using tinymce? Does it behave like this when disabling tinymce using * Set NOWYSIWYG = on? Does
http://trunk.foswiki.org/Sandbox/NatEditTest behave like this as well?
I failed to reproduce it for now.

We've Setup a vanilla Foswiki-Installation and there, it seems to work with just some basic Plugins installed.
I now tried to install all Plugins we use one by one... problem: since the installation of
NatEdit 7.03 configure is broken. "FindMoreExtension" leads to this Error:
Version string 'HEAD' contains invalid data; ignoring: 'HEAD' at /path/to/foswiki115_vanilla/lib/Foswiki/Configure/UIs/EXTENSIONS.pm line 283, <DATA> line 522.
No Problems here before the Installation of
NatEdit.
The Setup where the Error happens, does NOT use
TinyMCE. We're using the Pattern Skin it it's latest incarnation.

PS: On the vanilla Installation, we've installed
PatternSkin as well. So it appears that
PatternSkin is NOT the culprit.

Let me know which of the additional plugins triggers the problem.

I will... but as mentioned above, installation of
NatEdit breaks configure. We had this effect as well while testing earlier versions of
NatEdit 7.x
