JSON requires use of the convert_blessed method to convert blessed data during serialisation. This calls a TO_JSON method in the class which can simply convert it to a simple hash.

Put convert_blessed into the serialisation call for responses (I can't see for the life of my why it isn't the default, but it isn't

)

Also, preparatory to pulling this into core (should we go that way for configure) then add TIDY.
