Created topic in Sandbox for testing and I noticed by chance that raw edit under IE11 loses the nice UI icons.

Tested against Opera and Chrome and no problems.

This is due to this old EDIT_FORCE_IE8_COMPATIBILITYMODE preference setting we once introduced for I don't know what reason. Switching it off brings back edit to normal state.

/me reading up on Item2476 which introduced it.
