I use FormPlugin's redirectto functionality quite a bit, and recently its broken on trunk.

I don't have time atm to track it down, so am moving to the release branch.

OK, well, I have no idea what you are seeing so marking this for your feedback.

pretty simple really

use FormPlugin, and in the STARTFORM define redirectto="Tasks.Item1286" and watch how it doesn't go there.

I'm still seeing this in the HTTPDUserAdmin topic in HTTPDUserAdminContrib, and when I reported it I'm pretty sure it was in the FoswikiApplicationsContrib.

OK, I did a bit more research on the FormPlugin, but I'm no clearer as to your use case. Here's what I tried:
  1. Took the first example from the FormPlugin page
  2. Added redirectto="http://www.google.co.uk" to the STARTFORM parameters
  3. Changed the action to save
And is all worked fine, redirecting as requested. So I changed the destination to %WEB%.%TOPIC% and as expected, it redirected back to the same topic with the parameter value clear. So I change the redirect to System.FormPlugin - and sure enough, it redirected there after the save.

So now I'm looking for the specific use case that you think fails, please.

This must be a trunk issue as I can see from the text. And it cannot be urgent if not fixed after 8 months.

I've not used FormPlugin in a long time, so i'm just going to discard this anon.
