Item13183: WebSearch only looks at topicnames, not for textresults

Hello. My Search with the WebSearch Topic brings not all results, only the topics which include the searchstring, Example: i search for "apple". Results are all Topics with "apple" in the topicname, but no other topics which include something about "apple". Can you tell me why the search parameters dont work ?

You don't give any idea of what release of foswiki you are using, and if local admins have tailored your installation. And which skin is installed on your site.

On the search page is a radio button, to choose text body, topic title, or both.

This should probably be handled as a Support question, not as a bug report. Or better yet, join the #foswiki IRC channel so we can interactively try to figure out what is going on. See http://irclogs.foswiki.org
