Testing out CaptchaPlugin and the captcha form element fails to load image in UserRegistration (using UserRegistrationViewTemplate via AutoTemplatePlugin). JS console shows error for jquery.metadata: "SyntaxError: expected expression, got '%'". The parent div for captcha element has for class: "jqCaptcha {"validateOnSubmit":%validateOnSubmit%, "disableOnSuccess":%disableOnSuccess%}" . It would appear that these macros are not getting resolved correctly in the captcha.tmpl . I couldn't determine where these macros should be getting defined.

FYI - I have the latest published versions of JQueryPlugin, and all other Plugins as of this date.

I found a JS error that breaks Captcha interaction with PatternSkin registration. But with the fix for Item14622, it seems to be working fine. UserRegistrationViewTemplate is a NatSkin thing. It's working fine for me with recent versions of NatSkin. What version of foswiki?

This was an old task so I re-installed CaptchaPlugin on recent installation (2.1.4) using NatSkin and it worked fine. No more js console errors. Apparently underlying issue got sorted out at some point. Closing this task as "No Action Required". Thanks George for prompting me to follow up on it!
