Item13311: NatEdit as a core extension does not include the Javascript uploader
Priority: Normal
Current State: Duplicate
Released In: n/a
Target Release: n/a
It looks like NatEdit has a Javascript file uploader (at least according to this string
https://github.com/foswiki/distro/blob/master/NatEditPlugin/templates/editdialog.natedit.tmpl#L140 which I am attempting to translate).
I don't use NatEdit on my current installation, but
GuilainCabannes does. He confirmed to me on on IRC that on the current 1.1.x version, that
NatEditPlugin has such a dialog, and that the button for accessing the Javascript file uploader is not there on
http://trunk.foswiki.org
I am unsure if this is a bug of version 1.2, or if this is due to an installation problem (or an installation option) on
http://trunk.foswiki.org
... or if this a feature that was removed knowingly from
NatEditPlugin which is now a Core plugin
Since nobody could confirm this on IRC, I am raising a task for this.
If for some reason the button for accessing the Javascript file uploader which is not there on trunk.foswiki.org has been de-activated for this site, and this is not a bug in the code, it would be good to activate it so that the translators can see the dialogs they are supposed to translate and figure out their proper meaning. I am including
InfrastructureTaskTeamGroup in the "WaitingFor" field of the Task form for that purpose.

NatEditPlugin supports in-edit file uploads ... using
TopicInteractionPlugin. Only when installed will it show the upload button.

That part of the template was actually not used, and
MichaelDaum removed it in
distro:2ec0525f197d
I classify this Task as a duplicate of
Tasks.Item13294, since Michael checked-in to Git the changes using that other Topic created to address string translation related problems.
