When I save comments here on Foswiki.org I notice two things

When I save a comment the text I just wrote is still there after I submit and the new comment is saved. The field does not get cleared.

The second thing is that half the times I submit the server never returns any message. it times out. But the comment is saved.

I am using Google chrome. And on a bad network. Could be a network problem if I am the only one seeing this. I thought I would record it. Please others confirm if you also see it

Firefox 38.0.1: same effect here, comment text is inserted and input field is not cleared.

-- WolfgangRaus - 29 Jul 2015

It also does not successfully disable the button, or give any visual indication that the button is disabled. Patch coming...

with the latest patch
  • All fields are disabled
  • button CSS is changed to foswikiButtonDisabled
  • And input fields are all cleared,

-- GeorgeClark - 10 Sep 2015

No, not all fields are cleared, only text input and textareas. Instead all of the form needs to be resetted, which could very well have some other form elemenets in them.
