Item14140: Installing SolrPlugin on fresh vmware image fails

After installing the SolrPlugin extension, I need to install the following libs:

Any::Moose Cache::FileCache XML::Easy

Cache::FileCache intalls successfully. XML::Easy doesn't install because Digest::SHA1 fails to install. Any::Moose is even worse because more libs fail to install.

The command used to try to install XML::Easy was

perl -MCPAN -e shell install XML::Easy

However installing Any::Moose failed when trying the following

cpanm Any;;Moose

or

perl -MCPAN -e shell install Any::Moose

Is there a way to get the install to work?
