When editing FW pages, I typically use a pair of Chrome instances. One contains the "edit" for the page; the other contains the "view". After making some edits, I "Save and Continue" in one and refresh the other. This lets me assess the results and move on in an efficient manner.

Problem is, I'd like to have the rendered font size just a little larger. And, if I tell Chrome to use a larger font size in one FW window, it does so in all of them. Not what I want...

In the past, I've worked around this by means of the EDITBOXSTYLE variable:

   * Style of text edit box.
      * Set ebs1          = width: 99%; font-family: monaco, monospace
      * Set EDITBOXSTYLE  = %ebs1%; font-size:  85%; font-weight: 800;

However, the font-size parameter now appears to be ignored. Help?

See System/ReleaseNotes02x00#Deprecation_of_EDITBOXSTYLE_and_EDITBOXWIDTH_settings and Item12200. These were marked deprecated in 1.1.9.

OK, I realize that these settings are deprecated. However, that doesn't tell me how to achieve the same result. Or has the capability simply been "improved" out of existence?

The question is answered, a solution needs a proposal on how to resolve the issue in the context of new browser capabilities of dragging and remembering textarea box sizes. Setting this to Needs Proposal.
