I frequently grep through access and error logs. For this it would help to have a timestamp on the actual OopsException line in error_log

Example before:

OopsException(attention/thanks web=>Main topic=>OnlineStore params=>dronsidorov@yahoo.com)

Example after:

2006/06/05 05:23 OopsException(attention/thanks web=>Main topic=>OnlineStore params=>dronsidorov@yahoo.com)

Web servers timestamp all messages in access and error logs. Foswiki logs are all accurately timestamps it's own logs. Don't understand the problem here.
