If foswiki is configured to sand mails through Net::SMTP and the relay host requires authentication, then users need MIME::Base64 and Authen::SASL. MIME::Base64 is already listed under CGI Setup section. It should also check Authen::SASL and warn users if they don't have this module available and fill smtp auth information. Maybe System/InstallationGuide#Enable_Email_Notification should also mention this dependency.

In 1.1.3 the Configure Checker warns if Authen::SASL is missing and a userid is entered in the email settings.

Still need to update the documentation.
