It would be more appropriate for this plugin not to index or show topics in webs that are set to be hidden for searching (via the NOSEARCHALL setting).

(Taken from TWiki:Codev.AccessBasedWebList).

But then, if the TagMeSearch topic stays in the TWiki web (and the web you've tagged in is hidden) then how would the TagMeSearch work in the future ?

I'm afraid a re-write of the spec is in order. Perhaps a merge of the TagMeSearch code into the regular WebSearch, which has support for NOSEARCHALL included ?

The request TWiki:Codev.AccessBasedWebList is closed. Is this bug item still relevant?

-- TWiki:Main.ArthurClemens - 18 Apr 2007

This bug is not really related to TWiki:Codev.AccessBasedWebList ; the bug report was merely prompted by the discussion there.

The point is that TagMeSearch searches topics that are not allowed to be searched.

This has been fixed in the meantime.
