I should re-write that soon

atm it,
  1. makes a mostly empty topic in the Plugins web
  2. uploads all the Var topics into the plugins web (no ida why)
  3. then i killed it....
what we want it to do
  1. create the release topic, using a standard template
  2. upload the release files to TWiki:Codev.Release

Why is this a release blocker for Foswiki 1.0.0? I cannot see why.

I have uploaded many extentions and it works. I am downgrading to Normal

I don't think that we have any actions here. The extensions upload works fine. The Core release needs manual attention for uploading to SourceForge.
