This is true. But limited to the nightly builds. The real releases does a touch to the Foswiki.pm module so its version gets updated.

Maybe Sven will want to address this on the nightly build engine. For sure we do not want each nightly build to generate an SVN checkin to update the Foswiki.pm version.

to be honest, I feel I really should address this in the nightly's. I ought to make the version string something containing "NIGHTLYBUILD" so that we're all clear about it. Maybe um, someday?

We no longer use SVN revisions for tracking releases. The git hash / last commit date ought to be tracking correctly on trunk.foswiki.org. Setting to No Action.
