Nightly build 1360 (pattern skin)

Little coloured square showing web background colour is not present in breadcrumb, or next to web name top left.

Nor do page header and footer follow the web colour.

I know Arthur removed this recently. There is little left to use these web colours for.

Arthur what is your view.

PS. Remember to spell the Extension right so our Task application picks it up as a distribution extension.

To close this - as a minimum update some of the docu that talks about web colours.

Is there a discussion or proposal somewhere that explains why. Myself I like per-web colour, can it be enabled again via a preference setting E.g. for the background to the sidebar?

It has been removed from the 1.0.0 skin.

I do not think this is correct. We have the web background concept as a tradition. It is still very visible in the default WebPreferences, and in the user interface for creating new webs.

Why have a web background colour which is not shown and not used anymore. It makes no sense at all.

It seems the template for it is still there. I am adding this per default leaving the one without left for the ones that prefer not having any.

If Arthur later wants to put the web colour in a different place you shall hear no protest. But it has to be somewhere. We cannot just remove it completely. The small discrete square next to the web name in the side bar is a good way so this is what we will ship with
