The version of PatternSkin shipped with TWiki 4.2.0, contrary to documentation shipped with it, ignores the setting "Set COMPOSER =".

I've tried disabling the WYSIWYG editor and default to the plain text editor by setting it to an empty value, exactly as specified in the documentation, and there was no effect.

It's documented at:

http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Support/HowToChangeDefaultEditor

and in my installation of Pattern skin:

/bin/view/TWiki/PatternSkinCustomization
 I only want to show the WYSIWYG button on explicit pages
In
 [[https://twiki.altkom.pl/bin/view/Main/TWikiPreferences][Main.TWikiPreferences]], set COMPOSER to a blank value:
   * Set COMPOSER =
In the topic, set the
COMPOSER variable to kupu:
   * Set COMPOSER = kupu

Pattern skin issue.

-- CrawfordCurrie - 17 Jun 2008

Re-titled this bug and re-assigned from PatternSkin to TinyMCEPlugin.

Grepping COMPOSER in NuSkin, WidgetsSkin, NatSkin, PatternSkin, WysiwygPlugin and TinyMCEPlugin - only TinyMCEPlugin had any mention of this variable.

TinyMCEFrequentlyAskedQuestions: "I want the old buttons (Edit and WYSIWYG) in 4.1.x to work the same as they used to. How?" makes no sense.

Let's make this a documentation task.

Made urgent. This doc is embarrassing.
