I have added some screenshots for our journalists in my flickr account and described them. flickr has a very powerful slideshow feature, that I used to integrate those screenshots in the press release. This way one can flip through all pictures fast and easily and also go to flickr, read the texts and download the big-sized pictures.

See the results here:
http://foswiki.org/Community/InitialReleasePressRelease

In the long run I suggest, that we take over all those screenshots directly to www.foswiki.org and integrate them into our marketing area there. Feel free to do so, if you want to get rid of the "Kalyxo & JuJu" in the slideshow. It's the flickr-account of my wife and me. If you want to take over the screenshots please also take over the texts, but feel free to alter. For the layout adaptions, it is necessary, to leave the mentioning of the company with a link in place. I promised that.

I still need a mail-forwarder marketing@foswiki.org for that. Who can give that to me, Sven? -- MartinSeibert - 31 Jan 2009

There are no @foswiki.org email addresses. I decided to not make any while I am still holding the domain - this is waiting on the Foswiki Association, and the xfer of the domain.

I want to turn the original request ("Move pictures from flickr-slideshow to Foswiki-website") around: Create a semi-public Flickr account for managing Foswiki screenshots (and event pictures).

Access should be held within the MaintainGroup.
