the main foswiki.tmpl generates newlines in html. Removed. Now the templates is really a lot more readable... i guess like all ours are smile
Eugen, please don't leave tasks in "Waiting for Feedback" state without putting someone in the "Waiting For" field. I have added you to that field. Aside from that, I have no idea what you are trying to report here, nor do I have any idea if you have fixed it (though I see one checkin). All tasks have to contain enough detail so that if the original author is suddenly struck down by ebola virus then someone else can pick up the pieces.

Thanks,

I removed the newlines after all the "TMPL:P" in the foswiki.tmpl, because this newlines are shown as

in some circumumstances. I really dislike this "make a

out of newline in the templaes"...it goes so far that i "$.remove("

") my content before showing it ( in the case of a dialog ). What a useless waste of time and bandwith and readability smile

But yes i know that removing this ( autoconverting of newlines ) would break some skins
OK, this rings a bell; I think we discussed a long term solution to this (Template Toolkit)

I assume there is no further action required, and it's a refactoring not a bugfix, so I'm closing it.
