This is a really cool plugin - but I think the name is a bit obscure.

The name fits my future plans

I plan to add the ability to also save into a named section of the topic text itself.

I must say that I cannot see that DataFormGridEditPlugin is better. The plugin does not need to be used in a grid.

You can also use it to make a topic what enables editing fields in a short selection of topics in a different format.

You can even use it to edit fields within the SAME topic. You can define a field hidden and enbed the editing of the field inside the topic text.

It is a very versatile plugin that I hope to extend further in future.

I will No action this request for name change because eventually the alternative name would not fit how I want to extend it.

But please keep on advertising for it smile

I put a lot of work into it and it has received very little feedback.

Ok - I accept that it could be more flexible than my initial concept of what to best use it for.

I think this functionality is so useful that it could go into the core.

I'll certainly advertise it - I think I can get a client interested - this would permit me to spend more time with it.

Thanks!

Another thought: you could call it BulkTopicSavePlugin - this would align with topics such as BulkRegistration.

You could also provide a demo of editing userform records - everyone has those installed.

I am no actioning this item.

I will keep its name as I stated above because I plan to extend its function to also allow editing sections in topics.
