Add an opition thumbnail file type to enable creation of thumbnails in a file type different from the original file. This would for example make browser visible thumbnails from attached tif images. -- IngoWolf - 21 May 2010

svg, tif, xcf and psd images are converted to png now automatically unless specified otherwise using the new output parameter.
