Item9752: Document Foswiki page cache options.

In the PageCaching the documentation still does not describe all the options from configure

We either document them or remove them from the MANIFEST so they do not get distributed with 1.1.0

They 3 of the 7 options in {Cache}{CacheManager}

• DB_File
• Memcached
• MemoryHash

Looking at the PageCaching it is also not clear what the syntax is of WEBDEPENDENCIES. Can you use wildcards? And if so, can you use a syntax so all topics in a web are removed from the cache when any topic in same web is saved? This is not clear at all from the documentation.

I have removed the 3 files from the Release01x01 MANIFEST

We have enough with the 4 documented managers. Files are still on SVN. They are just removed from MANIFEST so they do not get distributed in 1.1.0

We can add them if they get documented.

For 1.2 or 2.0 we need to either do the same or document so It remains urgent but reassigned to major / 2.0

Closing. CacheManagers have been refactored and do not exist anymore. WEBDEPENDENCIES are self-explanatory. Wildcard usage is neither mentioned nor implied by the examples.
