External images are cached by ImagePlugin in Foswiki. This leads in some cases to misbehaviour. If an external image(addressed by a single URL) changes regulary the displayed content may vary from user to user.

We set both settings $Foswiki::cfg{ImagePlugin}{RenderExternalImageLinks} and $Foswiki::cfg{ImagePlugin}{AutoAttachExternalImages} to 0, but unfortunately pictures are still downloaded.
